How to prepare
- Avoid tanning and sunburn for two weeks beforehand.
- Pause retinoids and exfoliating products 3 to 5 days before your visit.
- Tell us if you get cold sores, since we may start a preventive medication.
- Arrive with a clean face, free of makeup.
What to expect: downtime and aftercare
Downtime: about 2 to 3 days for Morpheus8 alone, and about 5 to 7 days with the CO₂ combination. Skin looks pink and a little swollen, with tiny grid marks that fade quickly. With CO₂, expect a sunburn-like feel and light peeling as fresh skin comes through.
- Cleanse gently and keep skin moisturized as directed.
